Vaidya Nithi Ayurveda was started by Vaidya Nithi Subramaniam, who comes from 14 generations of Siddha and Ayurveda practitioners.
Vaidya Nithi has learnt the science and art of Ayurveda and Siddha from his grandfather and father back in his childhood years in the ashram/gurukolam in Sri Lanka. Vaidya Nithi’s family has been staying there until his father was recruited by the government of Malaysia to assist in developing traditional medicine in the state hospitals. After completing his family education in Ayurveda and Siddha, Vaidya Nithi joined his father in the Ayurveda practice. Gradually he has started his own private practice first at home, then in Langkawi, which he found to be peaceful and pristine place just like Sri Lanka.
With the tourism boom in Langkawi at the doorsteps, the island has transformed quickly into highly commercial, congested though happening place. The majority of patients came from both Europe and Russia, and some of them asked Vaidya Nithi to start Ayurveda and Siddha practice in their countries abroad. Since the island itself no more offered the calmness and village-like environment, Vaidya Nithi has decided to relocate his practice to Europe. That is how the centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia has been started.
It has been several years already in Ljubljana, and Vaidya Nithi’s passion for sharing his knowledge and helping patients to overcome diseases is getting ever stronger. Patients in Europe and Russia show the sincere interest in Ayurveda and Siddha, are keen to follow a diet and keep discipline in Ayurvedic regimen. This provides the endless source for inspiration in Vaidya Nithi’s work and passion.
Today the practice is still expanding and our patients can get consultation and treatment from the qualified and experienced doctors and therapists, educated in Indian Ayurvedic institutions, who share the same work values with Vaidya Nithi.
