About
Vaidya Nithi Subramaniam
A practitioner of Ayurveda and Siddha from a family line of practitioners spanning fourteen generations. He learned the science and the craft from his grandfather and father, and has practised in Asia and — for the past several years — Slovenia.
The gurukulam
Vaidya Nithi spent his childhood and adolescence in the family ashram — the gurukulam — learning Ayurveda and Siddha from his grandfather and his father. The teaching was built around hands-on practice rather than lectures: students learned by working alongside their teachers with real clients.
The family remained there until his father was recruited by the government of Malaysia to help develop traditional healing practices within the state hospital system. Once his own family education was complete, Vaidya Nithi joined his father in practice.
He began at home, seeing neighbours and friends. Today his clients come from across Europe and beyond.
Langkawi, and the move to Europe
He started his own private practice first at home, then on Langkawi — an island he found peaceful and pristine. As tourism grew, the island became commercial and congested, and the quiet that the work depends on disappeared.
By then most of his clients were travelling from Europe and Russia, and several asked him to bring the practice to them. That is how the centre in Slovenia began.
Several years on, the practice continues to grow. Clients here take a sincere interest in Ayurveda and Siddha and are willing to follow a diet and keep to an Ayurvedic regimen — which, Vaidya Nithi says, is a continual source of inspiration in the work.

The team
Clients are seen by Vaidya Nithi and by qualified, experienced practitioners and therapists educated at Indian Ayurvedic institutions who share the same working values.
How he works
Assessment rests on Nadi Pariksha — the pulse read at the wrist and at the main marma points. From there, treatment is assembled individually: therapies drawn from Ayurveda and Siddha, alongside diet, daily routine, herbs and exercise.
The detoxification and massage treatments combine Ayurvedic and Siddha technique passed down through the family with marma martial arts, yoga stretching postures and breathing work. Only chemical-free materials are used, and nothing tested on animals.
