How therapy works

What happens, from first message to follow-up

Nothing is decided before the pulse reading. What you receive is put together for you, and adjusted as things change.

Get in touch

Send the appointment request form, call +386 71 113 333, or message the same number on WhatsApp. A sentence or two about what is troubling you is enough to start.

We will come back to you with the times we can offer. Appointments are by arrangement.

Please don’t send health history by web form.

A general contact form is not a secure channel, and we do not ask for health records through this website. A sentence about what is troubling you is all we need to arrange your appointment. See our privacy policy.

Pulse reading — Nadi Pariksha

Nadi Pariksha is the main method of assessment used at the practice. It is regarded in the Siddha and Ayurveda traditions as the most direct of the client examinations, and forms part of Rogi Pariksha — the examination of the client rather than only the disease.

The pulse is read not only at the wrist but also at the main marma points of the body. It is used to identify your physical and mental state and the balance of your doshas — and it depends far more on a practitioner’s developed skill and experience than on equipment.

Before you come

Fast for four hours. Water is fine — nothing else. This is what makes the reading precise.

Getting here

Your plan

After the reading, Vaidya Nithi puts together a plan for you. It is not chosen from a fixed menu of packages. Depending on what the pulse shows, it may draw on any of the following:

  • Panchakarma cleansing procedures
  • Herbal oil massage and bodywork
  • Diet and daily routine
  • Herbs and herbal oils
  • Yoga stretching and breathing work
  • Rest, discipline and lifestyle guidance

Vaidya Nithi discourages clients from following diet plans found elsewhere without a consultation first — what suits one constitution may not suit another.

Therapy and follow-up

Treatment sessions take place at the practice in Medvode. Results depend a great deal on following the guidance you are given — particularly the diet — between sessions.

A shorter check-up (€25) is available to review progress and adjust your plan, and online consultations (€101) mean clients who have travelled to Slovenia can continue to be supported once they are home.

The practice is outpatient: sessions take place here and you return to your own accommodation afterwards. Overnight stays are not offered and accommodation is not arranged. There is a small car park on site.

Safety and expectations

This is complementary care

Ayurvedic and Siddha treatment does not take the place of being seen, assessed or treated by a qualified doctor, and is never a substitute for emergency care.

Your doctor comes first

Anything a doctor has prescribed for you stays a matter between you and them. What is offered here sits alongside that, never in place of it.

Outcomes differ

No outcome is guaranteed. Experiences described by other clients are individual and are not a prediction of your own.
